We really should get that crack sorted soon ... but at least it's not as bad as this (Eglingham Castle which Fred, Lovejoy and I visited yesterday - me with heart in mouth as Fred and LJ ran, climbed and jumped within striking distance should the whole thing have fallen down which looked quite likely!).
