It's 163 miles from Moorsyde Avenue in Sheffield to Crag View Cottage in Alnwick. That's a big move
for a little family. We're going to try and keep this blog up for a year to record our adventures,
excitement, challenges, highs, lows and woes as we settle in and make Crag View Cottage our home.

There are some great birds around at the moment ... particularly birds of prey. Yesterday a buzzard landed in the tree next to the house and then swooped away through the field next to the garden, and on Sunday we watched a Merlin sat on a telegraph wire in Warkworth.
